That’s excalty the problem, central asia get conquered by Turks and Islam, just like Byzantine.And Byzantine and Turks in the game are two different civs. You can’t say Byzantines represents Greece(or asia minor)better than Turks or Turks represent better than Byz, they both represent similar area in the game just for different time period. Hephathalite is the last major Buddhism power in central asia, even though this regime itself wasn’t too long( and more keen of wealth than religion), the kingdoms and states it represents (not Gorturk or Uyghur ethnic) had long history, and they were all gone one after another after Hephthalite was gone. It is just internet people from the west (which I guess you are one of them) only cares that Hephthalites might be same poeple as Huns, but actually they are much more than that.
