Evidence indicates that the Danes have inhabited modern-day Denmark since at least 3,000 BCE, migrating there after the Ice Age

…what the actual fuck? Did the Funnelbeaker culture members already identify as Danish? What kind of an ultra-nationalist Hyperboreanist wrote that nonsense, I don’t think even an AI could’ve commited such a crime on historiography.

On other topics: as expected, new history sections ignore post-Viking Period histories, there’s no word on the Kalmar Union or the Duchy of Saxony.

Yeah, but it’s kinda dumb to pretend that the only Saxons that matter are those who settled in England. Even if they are based solely on the British ones, a note in the history section about their cousins still thriving in Germany would’ve been nice.

No wonder the German translation calls the civ Anglo-Saxons.

Is this new? The game implied the Berber empires existed in 300 BCE. Back then the civilization was the Numidians and Mauritani and it wasn’t the same imperial powers so who knows

  1. Now it is fixed.

I mean at least Numidians in 300 BC spoke a Berber language and practiced the pagan Berber religion. Nobody in 3000 BC Denmark spoke Danish or knew who Odin is.
