I wish the graphics of all or some buildings of a certain civilization could change. but I don’t know how to do it without the need to use create an extra unit to replace the default one in the AGE3. for example, to change the castle of the Burgundians, they have a spatial graphic which is “Castle BURG Age3” and it changes automatically
but in the case of the Aztecs, if I put “Castle AZTE Age3” it doesn’t change, I have to make a technology and an effect to make them change
while with the Burgundians, Slavs, Bohemians. I could change the graphics, in this case of “Castle MESO Age3” but not only the Aztecs would change but also the Incas and Mayans.
Any ideas?
If I’m understanding your question here correctly
You need to click “copy” (with the civ(s) you want to change it for checked as well as “including graphics” of course) and then save the dat file, otherwise it won’t change.
yes, that’s right, they don’t change the graphics unless you use the AGE3
I’m unsure what the problem you’re having is exactly. So you’re trying to change the sprite of all or some unit and building sprites for a specific civilization? But you find you can’t do that without creating a new unit?
In short, the only thing I want is to create a mod that changes all or some buildings of a civilization, only adding sprites, that is, as the graphic mod that only works in a single civilization and does not affect the others
You can do this but it will affect all the civilizations sharing the architecture in question.
The only way to separate one out is by creating a data mod.
