Sentinels need to be given wall guns by default and the card removed, sentinels get 14 base range, and counter cav on range not melee
Replace two cards for wood tricle with one or a card for generation from defensive buildings
Commanderies should either cost less than a tower or increase their characteristics with each age
I sincerely believe that Sentinel will always be a bad unit in treaty because the developers want to maintain the 2 pop concept at all costs. In supremacy games, it is a relatively decent unit. No matter how much you buff the range or the rocket card, I think almost no one will use this unit in treaty other than to build forts, somehow it needs to be 1 pop. I suppose you can give it a few malt buffs to make it better in the treaty without affecting supremacy, but the sentinels will continue to be the trash unit they are now. Finally, some players have opted for crossbowmen, pikemen, and hospitallers, which have become much more profitable than this useless unit.
If we are talking about 1v1 combat, then you don’t need fire throwers, sentinels or hospitallers. Only xbows, pikes and hussars. If we are talking about late game, then sentinel is the best unit of this deffective trinity for me personally. Because fire thrower can’t take a hit, and hospitaller is overpriced.
