I wish this was my idea, but my buddy who is around 600 elo had it.
“Give infantry +1 or 2 range when attacking buildings”
This could maybe be locked behind arson and would allow more infantry to hit a single building target, keep them slightly safer from onager or ranged fire, and help quickly disassemble walls.
He was talking about how infantry are supposed to be better against buildings, but you can still only get 3 or 4 hitting a wall segment or a house. He brought up the torch attack animations in age 3/4 and said how it was nice how you could get more stacking and that infantry should do that in age 2 as well.
At this point… we should have a subforum about infantry suggestions…
About your idea… I’d prefer reduce the unit collision box. You obtain the same result in a more elegant way. Plus, it gives another advantages.
