Is it somehow possible to prevent fraudulent pros from sneaking into an online match / lobby, loud and clear only for noobs, who by doing that just want to grab a cheap win?
In my opinion who is able to manage a few units extremely early perfectly mirco, f.e. in a Black Forest map, to prevent her/his opponent from building paliside walls and developing her/his own city at the very same time is definitely not a noob.
Behavior like this spoils the fun of the game for beginners who are not yet in the habit of such things.
I would advice you to play ranked games. Ranked sounds scary, but it isnt. It uses a match making system so you play against equally skilled players. In the first (at most 10) games the system learns you level. This first games can be one sided. After those initial games you almost always play against players of your own level. So if you are a noob, you play against noobs. If you are a pro, you play against pros.
For me: If i want just an nice game against equally skilled players, i go ranked map. If i just wanna have fun with and against friends, i would just the lobby.
Thank you very much for the anwer and information. Since then I have actually played enough ranked games to get a rank by my own and after them I played a few matches with roughly equally skilled players. This is a cool tool.
But, unfortunately it is always very random. I still wish there would be the opportunity to set up lobbys with selected maps and other stuff, where we would be able to filter players by their rank or something similar. So, therefore, it is still not the really solved.
