I’m pretty sure the person you just replied to said she didn’t flag him. I didn’t either.
To be fair, we have no idea what really happened or who did the flagging. It could even have been WoeIsWho spamflagging others’ posts and that could have enraged teh admins. But yeah, i strongly disagree with silencing the ones we discuss with. There’s no point in discussing when one side is denied the ability to be heard or to present every single point in an argument that they can. That’s why I hate youtube or instagram…most content is biased and censored. I’ve also had some of my posts flagged and removed, with no mod making those valid posts visibile again, so I’m also getting kinda dissatisfied in here now with WoeIsWho’s censoring.
This campaign would not only go hand in hand with the current Chinese philosophy, but would also keep the playerbase satisfied compared to the 3k chronicles, which even robbed us of a Sun clan domination…
I didn’t flag anything!
Besides, I don’t flag/report posts because I disagree with them. Only if I think they are breaking the rules.
That is actually a pretty good answer.
I think he trolled a bit too hard and made the jannies mad as well.
God now I have this going around my head:
“I trolled so HARD and got so far!”
I have an option E. It is definitely not the a good solution, but very easy for the devs and they keep their all promises: nerf the 3 kingdoms so that they will not be a valid pick in rank anymore…
Funnily I think they did that for the Shu and heroes.
But no, not a good solution. They are still there on the civ select screen.
Looks like a lot happened since then. I didn’t flag anything, but I sure got tired of getting derailed and distracted by you-vs-us type of arguments.
I thought of a middle ground for option D: replace with just one proper civ for now (still more work than A, but the lowest hanging fruit is probably the Tanguts. They already have the poxi camel model). The other two (or more) await in the future.
Maybe a separate DLC of Jurchens+Khitans+Tanguts (the northern fractions) with added campaigns, which will be at a big discount to 3K owners (price commensurate with new Tanguts + the campaigns).

To be clear, my main issue has always been 3K are not proper civs – everything about them are in a stark mismatch within the grand roster of aoe2 civs. It’s nothing-burger for some, pet-peeve for many including quite a few on steam recommending, and an outright turn-off for others.
Same issues with Battle for Greece ones, but they are intentionally made to not be part of the aoe2 civ roster while being maximally playable (only no ranked). For 3K there is no viable way to opt out.
I even anticipated earlier this year there will be a kickass 3K chronicle DLC, as someone who strongly doesn’t see 3K in the main roster. This should have been a win for everyone.
I don’t mind what they add as long as they are like official spin-offs if it helps bring in money. Even then I hope they add quality content for what they are.
I did have an idea for a more temporary solution since the Three Kingdoms us supposed to be the main draw of the DLC that’s called The Three Kingdoms. At least got multiplayer.
Which is relegating the 3K Civs to antiquity mode instead of regular selection. That way only people who actually want to use them can only play them in ranked multiplayer.
