The average is still 53% and you cherry picked three days for which the average was closer to 60%. Please spare us
Cherry picking 3 days with 53 reviews in total out of 658 total reviews (349 positive → 53.04%) is dumb not only because that is just a tiny sample, but even the 60% are wrong. In the 3 days you claim, there are 31 positive reviews out of 53 total, which is 58.49%, so the “nearly 60%” is not really as nearly as you claim, given the fact that you wanted to push your agenda that would have a 7% difference compared to total reviews, and you just conjured up extra 1.5% (which is about 20% of those claimed 7%). Furthermore, with the same logic, you can cherry pick today’s reviews, which are 3 negative and 1 positive, therefore 25% positive rating.
It’s also “the truth”, so how do you like that one?
The score is still 53%, the third worst DLC in the game history.
And if you care about sales and players numbers for a DLC release, just you wait for the Game of Thrones DLC being record sales and players day 1.
Given how you claim to be a TrustfulMango, you’ll certainly believe that at the time when I posted the statement it was 21 hours ago, ergo the middle of the day on Sunday. At that time, the review count was 31-20, not 31-22, and the latter reviews altered the ratio slightly.
It’s telling that it took 21 hours to refute the claim, maybe because 21 hours ago it was irrefutable because the claim was accurate when I made it.
Again. I don’t need the numbers to go up to “push my agenda.” My agenda is served perfectly well when the reviews do not indicate a negative overall impression and how it does that is irrelevant. Arguing that the reviews are “less good than I make them out to be” doesn’t counter my point, it strengthens it. By arguing it’s a percent shy of 60 means it’s still not trending negative despite a month of prepped backlash, which is the backing for the claim that the people who would drop, boycott, or protest the 3K DLC is a vocal minority.
Which it is.
Edit: Removed the adjective “small” because I’m not going to claim to know the scope.
So we’re petitioning DE to remove those other two DLC’s now? Otherwise I fail to see your point.
Why do you care about daily reviews? Nobody cares what quantity of people rated positive or negative on one specific day, the important number people take into account is the score. People are lazy and will only see mixed or positive or whatever it is and maybe the specific number it is if the hover over it; and if the game review score is not in blue, they’ll think something is wrong with this product.
But nobody cares about last three days except you apparently.
I think there’s “something wrong” with a game if the review score is below 80, and I usually avoid titles below 90. For DLCs it’s more complicated, but 53% is pathetic and i’d not even contemplate purchasing it, if it wasn’t a DLC with new achievements that would otherwise ruin the “completion”…
That post was 10 hours ago, and just a while ago I stopped working and started browsing the forums. Also, this is my generated name.
DLCs in steam tend to have worse score for every game, people usually only rate the base games. Most people don’t even care reviewing a DLC or are angry about small quantity of content in paid DLC compared to the main game price. And most people don’t update their review even if the issues are later addressed and fixed too.
It’s funny looking at Paradox games with most DLCs rated poorly, but they can’t be that financially unsuccessful because they keep doing more and more.
I would just stop replying to the troll. Why even read the posts? I certainly don’t.
How come does this topic derail into how positive the DLCs is? 3K will be a great addition to chronicles anyway.
Why do you guys flag their (his?) posts? Disagreeing is one thing, but flagging posts that do not go against forum rules is unacceptable either way.
I didn’t flag him, but if you check his profile you’ll see he was suspended by the mods. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I don’t know but it might be revenge flagging. That guy flags a lot of people’s posts.
I didn’t flag him either. Although his initial post yesterday was pretty aggressive.
One angry guy apparently.
This topic was initially about different potential solutions.
Perhaps his replies are not relevant to the topic? This may be the cause of removal.
Pretty sure people trashed V&V and Return of Rome enough.
Return of Rome have their own game mode to not bother anyone and V&V is single player one. Sending the 3 kingdoms to their own mode fix the problems.
Enough. You are talking to a ghost.
Let’s get back on topic.
Paradox DLC (specially Stellaris) usually have poor rates because of technical problems. They release a lot of things that are broken or barely working. But the content itself of the DLC usually are well received by the playerbase.
The AoE2 case is different, because players complain about the content itself.
Back to the topic, Chinese should have its own campaigns for free as compensation imo.
(1) Conquest of Gokturks
Tang Chinese allied with Uyghurs to conquer Gokturks.
(2) Lushan rebellion
Tang Chinese allied with Uyghurs to fight against Lushan rebels. Tibet fought Tang from the West simultaneously.
(3) Tibetian invasions
Tibetians threaten Tang Chinese from the West and allied with Nanchao to harass from the SW. Tang Chinese fought back over highlands/ capital regions and suppressed Nanchao.
I think it can be a separate topic. I post this here as this can be a compensation and I have limited knowledge on Chinese history. Maybe some Chinese players can help extend Chinese campaigns.
How much can it speak about all of you, that people that doesnt agree with you is flagged, and thats the spirit in which you want things to change? Disagreements are part of life, that how we can mold our opinions and change and grow as people. You can Disagree with someone and keep being civil
