And even if they moved it to chronicles, they should still add unique architectures and do a full reskin otherwise I’d still think of it as low quality. Because you CANNOT fit 3K into a medieval setting without significant work, and they had refused to do that work.

And, I don’t need to show respect to any developer or publisher. I don’t sell anything to them.

The studio and people youre criticising is not the same that made the Chronicles,they are different.

I’m criticizing the publisher who made the decision and pushed the studios and developers to make low quality work.

If that irritates you so much, I’ll change my wording:

Moving it to a separate mode at least admit it did not have the design quality for the main game. So it showed basic respect.

What price? I bought the dlc and I don’t care if theyre taken out of ranked, devs promised 5 civs in ranked, and if they deliver 5 ranked civs, I don’t care the names of the civs or reworked civs or whatever, if anything guys who are complaining are getting me more stuff for free

I don’t think you grasp how successful it has been on the Chinese market, even on the west, it’s bad that some players feel betrayed and maybe think they don’t get listened to, but first of all the majority of the playerbase don’t get on forums like us, and don’t leave a positive review. I can promise you if sales were bad and enough controversy was loud enough I promise you they would change it, but reality is, it was sales successful, I could be wrong but i’m getting the sense there’s not a change coming soon.

There are a lot of angry reviews in Chinese, many with the same complaints as on the English forums.

Also the devs have made noises that they seem pretty aware of the outrage. If it was a huge success, they would be shouting it from the rooftops and not bothering placating people.

Yeah its a win win, but I guess time will tell whats gonna happen, who knows maybe they change it but I dont think its gonna be soon, maybe in a year probably, they are already working for the next dlc probably, and I think variant civs are here to stay I dont have info but its the sense im getting. Variant Civs of civilizations now present.
