Today I played a few multiplayer matches with my friend. I cannot build any walls anymore. This happened while playing the French and British. I did not play any other Civs. My friend had to build all walls for me. I never experienced this bug on the last patches.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
Be me
Launch game and get into multiplayer battle
Get some wood, try to build a wall: select a settler, click icon that shows wall, left click where you want to start building the wall.
EXPECTED RESULT
settler moves to wall foundation and starts building.
ACTUAL RESULT
no foundation placed, settler does not move, no wood spent.
When a villager or explorer performs an action (construction for example) the villager or explorer are deselected.
Furthermore, it is not allowed to build a wall. I can´t wall…

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
Select a villager, build a house, then u can´t make more actions beacuse villager is unselected.
select a wall, then u can´t build it in map… action not allowed…
EXPECTED RESULT
When u select villager and build a house u can build another estructure before, beacuse u have selected de villager, but after order a construction, the unit is unselected…
When u select built a wall with villager u normally can buid a wall in the map, but now u can´t…
ACTUAL RESULT
I loose time reselecting the unit, this is unbearable, horrible, not possible to play with this issue in high ranks…
I can´t wall me city! this is total umbalance!!

Here is the problem I’m experiencing…
Cant make walls, in certain conditions. Still figuring out what conditions.
Case 1:
Civ: India, Mode: treaty!
Destroyed a wall piece (1 pilar+2 walls),
then tried to rejoin it! I cant!
Case 2:
Civ: India, Mode: Supremacy 2v2
Tried to wall the edge of map.
After selecting wall icon from vilager menu, as soon as I clicked a pillar! I couldn’t.
The cursor deselects everything.
It has happened at least more than 4-5 times. Firstly I thought, it happens
when I select the same villager to rebuilt the walls, so I tried a different villager but it doesn’t happen.
My wild guesses for causes:
*It probably related to the reconstructing a wall
OR
*The settler/villager issue of India I mentioned earlier.
OR
*the bug that deselects vils after shift+click

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
Build walls as India(Haven’t tried with other civs)
Delete a fragment of wall near the edge
Try to rebuild it.
EXPECTED RESULT
Wall should be built
ACTUAL RESULT
Everything Deselects as is I clicked an empty space
The empty space thing i dont know a fix for except for shift but the walls might be enabled if you turn off conflicts in hotkeys, but from what i know its a bug that hits everyone and is probably being worked on atm
Hey guys, I had this same issue come up half way through a match since the 5 November update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, restored UI settings but none of these helped.
What resolved the issue for me was defaulting keybinds and disabling ‘Allow Conflicts’ for keybinds.
I haven’t had an issue since.
Can’t also make walls. I have to chose betwee not being able to make walls whatsoever and being unable to shift click or turning off “allow conflicts” and play without market or tactics/abilities hotkeys.

Hi! I’m only reporting in to say I had this exact issue too. I hope they’ll fix it asap. Being unable to use my own keybindigs sucks. The fixes mentioned above do work but they are limiting the gameplay.
