I love AoE II RoR!

More than half a year ago, I created a long list of suggestions for RoR. Only one of them has been partially implemented ever since. They added more post-2023 assets (flora, fauna, some eye candy objects, the Pasture) from the base game.

I’d like to add the following points:

• Add Peacock and Owl.
• Add the new water definitions to the Scenario Editor.

Soon, there will be more nature assets. I hope they’ll be simultaneously added to both modes this time.

You can still make a mod with just the unit skins,pretty much all units can be replaced now except for the chariot archer.bengal uu an be a place holder for this.

There is also no Chronicles Elephant Archer yet.

Maybe because Chronicles doesn’t have any Egyptian, Mesopotamian or East Asian buildings?

The Persian set might work as a general Mesopotamian one. Would the next Chronicles add Roman and Egyptian architecture, and the 3K received their own set, each AoE1 architecture set had an (ancient) AoE2 counterpart.

True, it wouldn’t be much different from Egyptians, Assyrians and Hittites sharing architecture that is really just Egyptian in style. Probably better than that in fact. I guess the existing Mesopotamian set is primarily Babylonian anyway.
