I choose not to buy the game because it doesn’t allow my playstyle, and I can point out many other examples that are a downgrade. So please give me 1 reason why I should buy the game? Not saying that there is nothing good to the game, however for me it is not worth it at this point.
Some of you are under the impression that I need to own the game to be able to comment on what is lacking or point out limitations to the system. I am well aware what is and what isn’t in the game, and if you pay attention my posts are quite specific and never about stabillity or specific balance. It’s sad that you would rather silence me than look to make the platform respect the previously most popular playstyle according to voobly stats.
I already gave many arguments behind my reasoning in this thread however most of it got ignored and only small parts get quoted and painted black.
@doobey123 From my sources it is not possible to view unranked elo in lobby and rank from there. If this is incorrect, feel free to let me know. This is besides the question if such a popular playstyle should really be banished to a seperate lobby ofcourse.
However your whole post emits your lack of awareness if you think only me and OP have these issues, and apparently after 20 years you think the game gets to come in and dictate how players enjoy the game instead of being inclusive.

No like anyone here I care a lot about this game and I want it to be the best it can be. At least equal in choice as previous platforms. One day I will be forced to move when all players leave other playforms. It can already take 20min to find a game in HD lobby.
I’d say it’s still possible to see them in future updates.

Would unranked elo make a game unplayable? I say no.
Still, if they added ranked elo to unranked lobby, they will add unranked too in some future updates if the most wanted it.

I have been making that point ever since beta. That we need a fully featured ranked lobby and ideally our playstyle (Pick map and not be forced to play civ pickers) also has a place in the main MM system.

Turns out there are many possible ways you can get information about a game. And you don’t need to play a game to understand changes that are made. Very strange that I have to explain this. Looks like you are just out to misrepresent my intentions…

I can appreciate your optimism but one only has to look at what happened to AoE1 DE and the way things have progressed with AoE2 DE from beta up to this point. The parallels are strikingly similar, as was predicted by many players before AoE2 DE was even announced, including me. We are constantly being let down by MS/FE not hearing our pleas and not listening to the community or feedback (the majority is simply ignored or forgotten). There is little to no involvement from the developers or designers. I really don’t understand how you can be happy with the state DE is in. But hey, if these so called “updates” make you happy, good for you.

Honestly you don’t deserve a second of airtime considering you haven’t even purchased the game. You’ve based an opinion on here say and even your argument has holes all through it because “you think” they left something out. You claim to have a love for this game yet you sit here making claims and accusations and you don’t even own the game.
