Which nation/armies you are planning on doing next?
I’m in a dilema with the cazador. Opon research I learn Portuguese Cazador infantry started at the early 1800s. Before that they were no cazador I guess, just regular infantry. So I’m planing in creating a base 1700s infantry look.
The base model I’m using is the Huntsman native unite. Was planing on working over that… what is your advice regarding historical accuracy?
Will do a imperial Cav for Portugal first. Will retouch Spain and i guess Germany is next.
Well, you’re not completely wrong
however, befor the “official” cazadores, there were voluntary companies (basically in all european countries) that somewhat, sometimes already fought as light infantry.
I don’t know if this site works for you (as of its functionality), but maybe you want to take a look at it?
I think this will be great for the Imperial Portugal Dragoon and Hussar. They match the time frame, correct?
Dear Enierheler, this fits perfectly ![]()
Can’t wait for that designs! Did Kronoskaf work out for you?
Dope!
This is what I mean bro
Nice work!
Thbks. Will keep posting updates. The files I’m using/creating are free for everyone. If you ask o need something, can share.
Oooooh, they look fiiiiiiireeeeeeeeeee!!! <3 cannot wait for the mod to be published!!
Soon I hope. Still have not learn how to make it MP compatible tho. But I think is possible.
Even if it’s not possible, I’d love to have a mod combine the napoleonic AND 7-years-war-era
have you found a solution for all the archaic units? Or will you (which I’d do) just disable them in latter ages? (At least the crossbowmen, longbowmen, doppelsoldner and rodeleros - as we said, the pikemen and/or halberdiers could still be used as some kind of nco’s that, in latter ages, could buff your units with hp or better stats)
Disabled them will be an easy fix. But will keep them for now and do some cool skins for them. You can always disable them on a custom mod.
Personally I have always prefer the veteran only upgrade for archaic units, makes more sense, but let’s have some fun and give more to the people.
I’m having fun with this “new pelisse” add-on
As I stated some maaaany posts ago (
), if you ever feel like playing a “renaissance”-era style of play for the first three ages with the archaic units, get all the incredible mods Sealing does atm - I currently only play them, but they are sooooo sooo soooooooooooo immersive in giving you a renaissance experience ![]()
You, Enierheler, and SealingEar are the GOATS!!!
Thbks for the support! Work in progress. Will improve textures and color marching.
What other change/upgrade/details you think it are necessary?
Daaaamn, they look great!!
Espscially with the army!! Now you only need Major Sharpe and the 95th rifles to join them XD (you most probably know the Sharpe-Series with Sean Bean, do you?)
Dear Enierheler,
they both look great - but I gotta be honest, I’d rather prefer the first one!
Don’t know why, but it’s just more appeasing in my opinion… But the mod is your mod, so you do what you like most, of course!
Haha! I must do a general/hero for The British with Richard Sharpe! That will be fire!
