Well, at the time, only the Romans, the Sassanids, the Chinese and the Koreans had Heavy Cavalry.

The Goths adopted it from the Romans, which adopted it from the Persians.

I think we should see huns in the game as Freddy Krugger and in Mortal Kombat. He doesn’t belong there lore-wise, (I didn’t see the movies but I suppose) he doesn’t qualify as a fighter, and I doubt he is properly represented. He was just included because he was cool and people would like to play with him. “Don’t take him serious, he is just there to have some fun”.

The same way huns are out of the time span of the game, they doesn’t qualify as a civilization and the central european set, atheism tech and wonder leaves them kind of misrepresented.
