You are correct. That buff DOES apply to siege.

Fully upgraded (420 hp 30+10 range armor) it takes 3 culverin shots to snipe. So yes the unit is in a decent place. But 3 culverin to snipe a GB is relatively cheap compared to 7 springalds. This why culverin civ will do well vs GB.

Then what exactly is the Ottoman influence mechanic good for if you donā€™t devote a landmark to it? Making spearmen around half a second faster isnā€™t much of civ bonus. Ottomans also get the dubious distinction of being the only civ that is worse than normal without its influence mechanic.

Thatā€™s not ottoman only perk?? Even still itā€™s such an ezzz thing to take advantage of making a 100w blacksmith that fit almost 12? Buildings around each.

its actually says it aplies to siege too and its not apllying %60 on siege buildings maybe a bug

guys i saw the ottoman update(in aoe 3) and i feel very happy but it took 17 years to make this change so things i write at the top will probably happen in the next 10 year so we told our ideas lets see what happens

No it did not. The amazing AoE3 devs did it in less than 2 months, to contrast with the gigantic scandal that is AoE4 Ottomans.

Also notice that @JoinedClover143 's Topic on Ottomans has been locked down. Heā€™s one of the oldest members of AoE forum!

Lack of maa/xbow combined with musofadi being underwhelming probably makes army composition super awkward.

The Ottomans should eventually definitely receive the Horse Archer already! Horse Archer should NOT be a unique unit of the Rus. The Ottomans without the Horse Archer is like the HRE or French without the Knight.

Exactly Great Bombard is total trash but the wider problem is trebs are just waaaaaaaay too good for age 3.
