In fact I think AOE3 do not need new civs dlc. AOE3 lacks scenario and campaign. You can just use ready-made art recource to make such a pure campaign dlc. I think it will far more easier and more famous for fans.

Personnellement, je prĂ©fĂšre de nouvelles civs que simplement des campagnes (que j’y touche jamais)
mais là il y aura de toute façon plus de nouveau contenus pour aoe3 DE vu que le jeu est maintenant en maintenance active

I doubt we’ll be getting any DLCs after the cancellation of the last one.
They could’ve released the Denmark - Poland DLC easily but nooooo, we ain’t getting anything at this point.

How about a bug fix patch? I’d like that a lot.

They already have assets to make almost every major campaign from 1500-1860.

They don’t really need to make a full skirmish “Danish” “Austrian” or “Polish” civ, but they could simply make campaign-specific civs with a limited deck like Morocco. They have all the models.

I agree with that, though I’d still really like Poland if they pick support back up. They could totally go for Campaigns + 1 civ to keep everyone happy.

I mean yeah. Mostly because I’m not the one who’s constantly trying to take business decisions for the billion-dollar company like I know what I’m doing.

I mean, I would do it for free.

It would be awful, but it would be free.

I’d say what’s stopping you but of course this clown game still has the scenario editor broken

What’s hilarious is that AoE3 isn’t even the worst off for this. AoE4 doesn’t even have an editor.

That game is just a pile of badly optimized spaghetti code in a wish .com AOE2 wrapper

I think those campaign-specific civs could also be revs in skirmish, such as Tatar and Morocco, etc.

22 civs are really enough. The most famous civs have done, such as China\Japan\USA. Although I love more other civs, but I know they won’t sell well. However, many players are eager for some important scenarios, just like Ming VS Later JinQing)\ Ming VS Japan\Opium War\Napoleonic Wars\American Revolutionary War etc.

WE is going to make all of them VARIANT CIVILIZATIONS :skull:

No, the map of the Asian region during the Age of Empires III clearly lacks the regional power of the Persian Empire, as well as maps of the Persian region and southern China. Similarly, the highlands of southern Africa also lack maps and countries

The number of civilizations in Asia and Africa should be increased to four respectively to ensure the integrity of the region. The lack of Safavid Persia is a clear failure

I love to see the civs you metioned, but I know they won’t sell well. I know most players just play the campaigns and then uninstall the game. They only care about campaigns. So I think a pure campaign dlc may be far more easy to sell better.

No, Persia, as the most important region and country in West Asia for a long time, has sufficient historical significance and can serve as a starting point for the Second Battle of the Age of Empire II, introducing the Battle of Ismail into it. It can even be used as a bonus country for the so-called “historical campaign” package, which provides additional rewards for players who purchase the campaign package. It is still an important country and can be used as a sales incentive
