INCA is currently BROKEN

What about Inca ? Inca are one of worst at seiging at range .

Your argument starts wrong. Ressources arent equal.
Did you see anyone choosing to get food delivered by their tps or factories? no.
Do you see anyone having 700 and 600 food in his shipment deck? no.

Plus Farms are cheaper then any coin buildings in the end.

  • dutch has superior units and a whopping 50 extra military pop.
Would give my mace man for ryter or speed helebs any day.
And would love to have age 2 skrims instead of bowman.
And i would really like to play some falcs / culvs instead of huracas.

  • Dutch is harder to raid and their unit combo is way tankier then incas.

Just saw daut some days ago winning a game going just pure ryters with some late cannons. he didnt even care to build skirms or barracks even tho his enemy was just building quite a lot of skrims all the time. he basically went cav all in.
Ryters + some hussars and rarely some cannons.

And now beat that ■■■■ with inca unit combinations. Bowman DPS wont be enough.
Chimus wont reach the cannons and will get eaten alive by 50 ryters.

Dont forget you start with one less villager -.- dont know why -.-

I think they nerfed the wrong part of Inca, the biggest problem is the turtling, the 55K HP stronghold with 800 dmg per volley that is impossible to beat before Industrial and a borefest to beat even then.

That was the part that needed nerf not the rush which, honestly, wasn’t that strong or annoying.

The cannons not being able to garrison help a lot, but that’s only part of it, please nerf the town dance considerably(maybe cap it to 100% with 25 villagers, a little bit more with the priests
270% is WAY too much) and put a cap on the fortress damage(300 area dmg should be enough to be a force to be respected
800 is just ridiculous, it one shots everything on fortress age and almost everything on industrial and that’s an area dmg to make it worse).

Also, plz make then less accessible, 700 resources for something that is much stronger than a fort (that cost much more) is way too little.

To compensate that, other areas of Inca will need to get buffed OFC but the turtling should be addressed as a design point of view.

just rush Inca in Age II, while they are building houses. And win. Fort is age 3 + some extra cards. Dont be passive. Dont be basic xD

The only thing that matters is can you spend these resources or not. If they’ll change trickle from food to coin it would be a huge nerf for Inca.

For me, the best rework for houses would be instead of increasing the trickle rate at age II (that too early for such a strong boost) add a card that unlocks the ability to switch trickle to wood. And move trickle rate increasing card to age IV or as age V upgrade.

In a normal game, dutch will never use this advantage just because their weak eco cannot support 150 unit population anyway.

Can you explain why are you thinking so? Inca actually one of the hardest civ to be raided, they don’t need to expand until they get rid of wood, and they usually have tons of defense buildings on their bases. Calling dutch’s unit combo (that usually ruyters + skirms) “tankier” than anything in the game seems wrong to me.

Don’t know why people keep complaining about Inca military, they not that bad. Their bowmen can fight against heavy cav with poison and against light inf because of their high speed. Their piki one of the strongest and most flexible piki in the game. Runners better than any of heavy cav (excluding gendarmes/mercs ofc), they have higher speed, they unsnarable, they have better pathing and smaller model. In late-game you should use stealth abilities to start the fights and undermine enemies’ economy with raids instead of taking direct battles. Use Inca’s army strongest side - speed and mobility, quickly close the distance and surround the enemy.

Their forces are not the best either, and all cost wood, but it’s compensation for the strong base defense, not for eco anyway.

Resource collection is not equal of course, but once the resources are in your wallet, they have equal purchase power (depending on your civ of course). People tend to use trade routes and crate shipments to get wood because it’s a great way to avoid slowly collecting it, but 700 wood can’t buy you more units than 700 coin can. Since both Dutch and Inca spend their trickle res primarily on units, they should be treated similarly.
But still, we see that Inca has a 20% trickle/investment advantage on the dutch (and Dutch still has to build houses).

I don’t agree that dutch’s relative military advantages outweigh the Inca’s economic advantage (especially extra pop space. everybody has that, only the dutch is forced to use it), but it is a point worth considering. I think people want Inca’s kalanka units to be made to be more useful. If this happens, I think that their economy has to be nerfed a little. IMO, that would mean reducing base collection rate of kancha to .4 or reducing Inca’s max vill limit, similar to dutch or japan.

Bro, your calculations are FLAWED! :man_facepalming:
Inca start with one less villager. Don’t have a villager shipments. Then, Dutch can build a bank in transition for as you said 2,75 G/s. Inca builds for same invest like what
3-4 kanchas, with a sum of 1,5-2 F/s. Lets say 1,75 F/s. Aaand -1 Villager.

And again:

Inca get into Age II with with 1,75 F/s (FOOD! not Gold) and -1 villager (cause -1 at start), Dutch get into Age II with 2,75 G/s and +1 Villager.

And villagers gather coin slower.
And I don’t know why you canceled the card shipment. I mean Banks are full power straight away. Kanchas
not. Dutch go Age 3 with 3-4 Banks without extra cards to buff Banks. People say one banks worth 4 villies on coin. It means 12-16 extra villies for dutch. Again, without cards. Inca without card has 6,5 villies on food (13 kanchas).

So
yeah
Inca has supperior eco, sure lol, like
not :man_facepalming:

P.S.: and what is the reason we cant compare kanchas to brit manors
? Yea sure, kanchas gather safely, but much slower. Brits get insta vill. Sure you need the rescources on map. But it is also more flexible. And at full power right of the bat.

No vill shipment is a good point. This definitely means that the Inca have a slower start to their economy, and therefore takes longer to set-up and has less time to cash in. However, as you have mention, coin collects more slowly than food, and the Dutch have to collect coin to build vills, usually with 4 vills collecting. That difference negates the 1 vill starting advantage the Dutch have on Inca (quite evenly, as each vill is collecting with a ~25% penalty).

as stated in my original argument, a bank costs 1116.5 vs, and a kancha 270, so 4 is the number of kanchas you can build instead of a bank. And yes, again Dutch has a faster start b/c the bank doesn’t require the shipment to get full collection rate per bank, but those 4 kancha will soon be collecting at 4/s, while that 1 bank will still be collecting at 2.75/s

I explained this in my original post. Both civs spend a shipment in standard BO, and I calculated dutch’s vs / res output using 5 banks at the cost of 4 banks. Dutch does have the advantage of the build xp, and once again, collection begins sooner, but ultimately that will make a difference of just a couple units.

you yourself have just explained why it’s not easily comparable. There are many differences between having a vill and having a trickle. It’s just a lot easier to compare to the dutch.

I just leave two screens of my Inca vs Dutch (red) match. My enemy wasnt even good. As you can see I had some okayish raids. Dutch easily overcomes Incan full eco buld! ( Now Dutch could ve raided as well. Then I would have even less eco) So
so much to “superior” Incan eco.

I think in a houses should need herdablea like sheep and cows to boost the food production.

So it should work like the Indian XP cow shrine.

For one, I don’t think any one player’s performance is a reliable indicator of a civilizations balance. Secondly, with trickle rates of 13 compared to 13.75, we already know that the expected resource incomes of the two civs should be similar. The issue is the amount of investment required to attain that economy is lesser for inca. I.e, the Dutch’s economic score will be higher, but their income will be the similar. That is, until both players hit the 50 villager mark, at which point the Dutch player will be left behind.

For one I’ve been thinking, Why don’t you guys rework the special ability of INCA being able to hide units into the stronghold and give them a new ability? Then allow all civs to hide units within their own forts/strongholds?

How about no?

Hidding units in forts is what make inca a terrible design civ that everyone hates playing against. It should be removed from the game, not spread to every euro civ

Thanks to all, now the INCAS are horrible, perhaps the worst civ in the game. It has been nerfed in all aspects that make civ something positive and make it impossible to beat another opponent of the same level who is using another civ.

It loses in all aspects to others. Unbelievable that it is totally disfiguring the design of the civ, nerfing without even bringing any buff in any aspect, if to nerfy the ECO, mobility of the units, possibility of rush and defenses, at least make the units strong and with a better range attack. Need urgent a rebalance and now a buff!

It loses in ECO to civilizations with the possibility of BOOM like brit, japan, dutch, etc.

She loses in a rush to civilizations with such potential as iro, azz, spain, etc.

She loses mid game to civilizations with any kind of skirms, goons, cav.

She loses in HP’s units.

She loses in ranged attack.

Even the INCAS anti cav units lose to horses (LOL).

INCA JUST SUCK A LOT NOW

unit wise Inca doesn’t have much. What is strong about them is their defenses. Which are too good. Army wise Inca is really bad. even Eco wise they got good early eco and late they decay :frowning:

The worst civ? Do you know here is a civ called Aztec?

Balance is not based around new/low ELO gameplay. Incas are still strong and have a good rush of units, but you will have to play them to win and not just expect them to roll over things with inbalance.

You still basically have ubernoob Sweden, where you can win just by spamming the musketeer unit like the caroler; even if it’s slightly nerfed, still basically beats everything if you don’t like any challenge.

Not that I care tho, the ranked being broken means I’m waiting to see if they fix it first before I resume playing this junk.
