How about just ONE simple change:
Giving Indians as they are now Regular Battle Elephants
Will that break the balance of the game?
(As we already know that one change will make the civilization much more recognizable and in line with history. We even have SE Asian looking straw hat people in Assam, always part of India.)

The word “towers” can be an exaggeration, not “archers on elephants”… How can the latter be an exaggeration!

LoL that’s funny. @SauravT and @ArshiaAghaei there’s no point in fighting over this point. Indians and Persians both used melee and archer mounted elephants.

So we agree! The ONLY change that is necessary to happen is for the Indians!

It will, because Indians are a massive Boom civ, so tehy should never have any Heavy Cavalry, which is why they lack Knights.
Ele Archer is a terrible UU atm.
Giving them to Persians and giving the strongest UU in the game stat-wise to Indians will ruin Persians

That’s why my suggestion will be to move the Imperial Camels, the biggest strength of Indians in game right now but does not fit them thematically. This will be a good enough nerf to add the heavy cavalry.
So do you agree that one simple change can solve all this mess?

And this discussion also involves the Persians not just the Indians, so it is not the same as Indian civ issues
I believe in the power of simplicity:
Giving BE to Indians as they are, keeping everything else pure and untouched.
Why should the War Elephant be given to any other civilization? It is a Persian unique unit.
