Ingame chat is delayed/bugged

Disabling the chat filter will get rid of your problem.

Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Open the hosts file with Notepad

Add a new line at the very end, with the following:

0.0.0.0 text-mod.ageofempires.com

Save changes

This will completely remove chat delay, as well as the chat filter.
