Microsoft is paying them to take time off, I don’t think they have time for these things, I’ve given up on the game, beginners interested in the game recommend not buying it, the atmosphere in the game is bad, map hacking, high field of view, automatic sheep hunting, cheaters high-profile abuse other players, but cheaters pay nothing and the number of cheaters is increasing dramatically. They will only say that it is not convenient for us to openly check the mechanism of cheaters, when in fact they do nothing but go to work and take the money to go on holiday.

So cheating is normal in AOE4. Some people I know cheat and they are in my friends list, and they play the MP all the time xD, I don’t think devs will be able to catch them, bcse now these cheaters get better and don’t make stupid mistakes.

Regardless of any imagined admin action, it’s counter-intuitive to encourage cheating as a community member.

Moderate your language, you never made it clear whether they were on your friends list because you were gaming playmates or for other reasons.

You can report the player on steam too, through their profile.
I have heard that this is the better option to microsoft, and you can access the steam profile through the AoE one, just an alt tab away.
Honestly, I hope the replay system will be improved and will become downloadable making finding and catching cheaters easier!
