Is there enough Europe civs?

I see. I’m not knowledgeable in Turkic peoples.

Italians are also a branch so Venetians do not belong to the game as a seperate civilization.

In-game Italians are the Lombards also the part under the HRE.if that is not the case why is there a south Italians faction?

That’s like saying the Tamils and the Malayalam are the exact same in the timeframe of the game. Sure, they have some cultural similarities, but not to the extent you believe. Especially not in the High period of the Middle Ages.

Thats not really a fittinf comparison tbh. Italian civs shared a ton of stuff (way more tham the example you ised or than what diferemt Dradivians kingdoms shared)

And if anything I think that Venetians and Lombards becane closer with time.

Either way honestly the Venetian disxussion doesnt lead anywhere for either side

Nah, you’re good 11

You are absolutely correct. They did indeed end up getting closer over time, adopting more cultural traits between each other, but in the time period we are discussing they were very different from the rest of the Peninsula on most fronts (Thus the Tamil/Malayalam comparison- they did roughly the same thing as the Italians/Venetians, over roughly the same time period). So, saying that they are just another branch of the Italians is quite a disservice to them. If anything, they Italianized themselves later on, somewhat during but mostly past the AOE2 timeline. That’s all I’m trying to get across to him.

True. But it keeps coming up, so all I try to do is set the facts straight.

I thought it was a typo lol
