Not just that, as I pointed out before:
This is not a problem between Jans vs Villagers.
This is a problem that is rooted in ENGLISH VILLAGERS.
There is a good reason why the english is so good at Dark-age cheesing with Vanguard MAA + Villager all in rush in dark age.
English villager attack is also very high. They counter most range units up to castle age, cost for cost.
It’s just not viable to use as you will be pulling them off your econ.
But makes them disgusting none-theless combined with Longbow and a group of 5 frontline vills making stone walls in feudal age for the Longbows to camp ontop and outrange any base defenses. And the vills can join in the fight aswell rather than idling.
are you kidding these units good in mass you are just making bunch of them fight with that little number of units melee units win with number advantage same with crossbow too we need a real battle to compare them
