Only passive bushido and tengu. Everything else can be left as is.
Why tengu? I don’t think need a nerf
Tengu timing iwth tsuko is quite strong right now. Its dominating both ladder and the tourney.

Its basically a fast heroic with New moon on temple to get all the upgrades and 2-3 tengu out.
The tengu boosts its stats after jumping and has 60% uptime. Its very strong as a unit and it also gets you loads of gold. Theres several casted games from the tournament if you wanna check it out. Its been the most picked god by now.
Oh wow, I didn’t know this usage. I’ve used new moon for other purposes, but never for tengu. I’ll go look for them
I agree and I enjoy playing and watching the vanilla civs way more than the DLC ones.
Although it is clear for me that the DLC civs had more work and thought put onto their design, I still can’t like them more than the old ones. What concerns me is that it is pretty clear that the vanilla civs are just worse and less appealing than the new ones.
I have a hard time accepting the fact the Japanese for example is the only civ allowed to have normal human units with active abilities where the vanilla civs only get that through myth units or heroes. Same goes fo the Chinese heroes, with much better design and flavor than the greek heroes (that are supposed to be unique) for example.
I hope we can have some sort of meaningful update on the vanilla civs.

They’ve already updated one old civilization. It’s just a nightmare.
I dont see a big problem with their units.Counter units really do a nice job against them.What is op about them is their gps.Almost all of their gps are warfare gps.Susanoo have 4 warfare gps which is too op because once he reach to mythic he will destroy your whole armies with only gps.You will be losing a lot units while he was losing a few of his.Other pantheons dont have that much gps that can turn the game.You can always recover from the earthquake,meteor,wolves etc.It would be fair if only japanese gathered favor slowly but they gather it really fast also Susano gains it from bushido.That is my opinion.I really dont like playing against Susanoo.
