Even his Discord Invite is not open to everyone.
Thanks! I try to stick a balance. Probably just means making everyone a bit upset haha.
I didn’t know that. I’ll give it a try next time I’m tinkering.
What the…are you seriously trying to start a witch-hunt or something? My Discord is open. Just message me and I will link it to you.
The only reasons I haven’t posted the link are:
1: Wasn’t 100% sure of the rules of advertising myself on other websites
2: I don’t want repeat trolls like Gargarensis to stumble across it and use it as a new outlet for his sad activities.
And for the record, “her”.
Wish English had gender neutral pronouns.
It’s only one person (or it was until SortedCave pitched in with some nonsense). Probably best to ignore them, although I appreciate that it can be difficult not to respond.
For what it’s worth, I think “add more decorations” is pretty bad advice. It’s very common for inexperienced mappers to go overboard on decoration and appearance, at the expense of more important things that actually impact the gameplay.
Yeah right. Me and SortedCave are evil people for giving criticisms.
Great same civ with Indian
It has: them. It’s been used in the past and started to be used again in the present.
How do you use ‘them’ in place of his/her in a sentence?
Oh, it’s dead easy, e.g.
Even their Discord is open to anyone who asks nicely and isn’t obnoxious.
See?!
But it sounds like singular became plural changing the entire meaning.
You could have avoided being so obnoxious replying a simple grammer question.
You can usually tell from context that it’s singular. There are several other sets of gender-neutral singular pronouns in English (e.g. Spivak pronouns) but they’re not that well known. They/them/their seems to have caught on much better than the others.
Hi. I am a gamer who likes your posts and is waiting for the mod you are working on.
I have read all your posts on reddit and here, and I am also waiting for the mandate of heaven dlc.
I am writing this to ask for your help.
After subscribing to the mandate of heaven dlc, I was able to find the mod inside the aoe2 game on steam. However, the mod icon is a gear and no civs are added.
Please tell me how I can play the civs you created.
I do not have a discord ID, so please answer here.
I can’t wait to see the results of your work. I am so looking forward to it. Thank you.
귀하의 노고에 감사드립니다. 제 마음에 쏙 드는 DLC에요. 어서 플레이하고 싶어요
Hey there. Not mod author.
The gears representing that your mod is or contains a data mod. Be sure to enable whatever dataset named “Mandate of Heaven” when you access those files.
Check custom campaigns and scenarios in single player section. If it’s not, you can check subscribed folder of your mod and copy port it to local file.
Try checking your mods in the “Dataset” drop-down when selecting civs to play. If it does not appear there, let me know.
Hey, mod co-author/primary coder here.
The gear is good. It means the mod is correctly installed. You have to select the dataset when loading anything or it won’t work.
It’s a dropdown menu in the scenario editor, sp/mp menu, and campaign screens.
Ok, some better images now. These are taken directly from the Chinese and Tibetan campaigns, so will be things that can be encountered when playing the levels:
A Nepalese town nestled in a mountain forest.
The desert city of Kashgar.
A river flowing from the Himalayas.
The ruined gatehouse of Hulao Pass.
The Xiongnu and Eastern Turks settle on the edge of China.
Nepalese rebels hiding in a mountain forest.
The Tang army arrives!
Arena players seeing this picture be like → ☆*: .。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
“Nepal” could be like an arena map with cliffs and hills
Thanks for your help.
But could you be a little more specific?
I copied and pasted the folder named 238185_Mandate of Heaven and the files inside it into the local folder in the age of empires2de folder on my computer, but nothing happens in the game.
