The most appropriate would be the Wayuu and the Muisca. Although the Wayuu did not exactly inhabit the Andes mountain range, they were in a large area from Colombia and Venezuela. The territory they occupied was relatively small, but their influence I believe extended beyond their borders. I don’t know if the Inca empire was aware of the existence of the Muiscas, but if so, it would be good to know on what maps it would make sense for them to be.
