It is still laggy, specifically when it goes to late game. It just looks like a slideshow. But it does not happen always, so I assume it is due to the servers. Australia and Brazil servers are super laggy for me. And I am from Asia.

For some reason the lag is back again in the last days. I just losing games because i just have to deal with lag. It isnt even related anymore to the Brazil server. I never play 1v1 on brazil server.
Server maintainance did nothing to fix this issue at all.
Weird thing is that i have lag, but my enemy dont.
I already have lost many games because of this lag.
I did some tests by running the bacnhmark test two times at the same system. There was no difference at all on my laptop:
1st time: 1013
2nd time: 1130
Like i said nothing changed on my end. So i conclude this shows how bad the lag is. Sometimes your PC will be just enough to run MP, the other time your PC is just fine.
I really hope the devs can fix this lag.
I faced the same behaviour of the Benchmark, 4 months ago. I assume that the second test gets a higher rating, because there still is a lot of data existing in RAM (from first try) that does not have to be loaded from hard drive, like in the first run. I did not test this more, but I imagine that the second, third, etc tests are always pretty much the same, while the first is worse. So I would not say that the difference in Benchmark surely comes from lag
Any word on a fix for this? Game ran perfectly fine before the last patch. Now itās choppy/laggy half of the timeā¦
After the last update it went even laggier, I think!

Current issues arent related to this thread. The current lag is related to the late game in team games.

I am also suffering from this team games lag problem. Is there any plan to fix it or any workaround? Basically, it is not even playable now.

it didnāt fixed also it worse after this hotfix. late game is 2-3fps. but early game is 50-55 fps

Yeah first game on hotfix: ranked 2v2 on nomad, one of enemys dropped after 3 mins (seemed to be afk, no point increased since start)ā¦ then my game crashed on the aftermath screen due to me clicking the economy tabā¦ Nice hotfix I have to admitā¦

go make a bug report. those bugs seems different than the drop which could be due to game close or just desync.
hey guys my mate is having a issue playing this game online
never any issues untill after the new update he constantly has the yellow clock ig and red
in lobby even things like clicking tec tree he has lagg just trying to see menu things only strickly for online
offline everything is fast as normal
he score was 1218
pc specs
CPU: I7-9750H
RAM: 16GB 2600MHz
GPU: GTX1660Ti 6GB
SSD: 1TB
any help or trouble shooting would be appreciated thank you

Well at some point of time it just feels like a big waist of time to do reportsā¦ just went back to HD for a gameā¦ well now considering to quit Age2 completelyā¦
Its not like I think they ignore bug reports (in the hotfix even a bug I reported is included in being fixed (crash with open tech tree when UGC warning pops up), so thats fine now), but bug reports should not be this common thing to do, donāt you think so? I would like to actually spend more time playing than to reproduce bugs and find out how I get them or not, and then reportā¦
@PrefectGannicus: did he play on the new hotfix (released 12 hours ago), or in pre hotfix times?

i think it was pre hotfix. so far I played a few and there are still auto game close to desktop but those are probably different bug entirely. few games tonight little lag unless with known lagger, like yellow clock starting dark age already lagging. otherwise so far no lag yet.

Well after some more games I have to admit that there were no more bugs for meā¦ cannot reproduce the bug, but at least it is working for now.
I just was pretty upset when the literally first game already had that issue, but if it is rare I am fine

I played with a few that I know use to lag always, 3-5fps lag type, every game, with only 2v3 or 3v3 250-300 pop. played today with them 3 games, 3/3 no lag at all, this is amazing. either they up the server performance or fix the issue or both.
@GMEvangelos thanks for getting the feedback back to them and the fix out quick, theres no more lag and infact its really good now.
