Why would they show it to us on medium setting? I’m taking that out of the equation.
Either that 2019 trailer was enhanced with all sorts of filters and god knows what else or they took someone’s feedback and changed things accordingly -for the worse-
I mean, they still look like waxworks but I could even shallow that as style, they look quite polished and detailed in those close ups compared to their current terrible state.

So what happened here to argument of all those people who say that close ups naturally make the units look ugly and undetailed?
Those look quite detailed and pretty to me but I didn’t see the same level of visual fidelity now.

I love it so much that now we will have different styles of uniforms for the same units for different civilizations, which AOE2 lacks.
I agree. 2019 trailer was looking better. I also prefer saturated colors in XO19.
Well, they told us that the fan preview was old and things are looking much better now.
Let’s see about that when the beta shows up.
