Assuming a future Colombia civilization in-game represents the revolutionary republics that formed between 1808 and 1819 in the northern South America region and that it also represent the period in which the Republic of Colombia was huge (aka. Gran Colombia) between 1819 and 1831, you could easily have the following states included for each age transition:
- Age II:
- Cartagena (representing the separatist junta of the Province of Cartagena of 1810, as well as the Free State of Cartagena that evolved from it in 1811 and that later joined the United Provinces of New Granada as a federal state in 1811 and later on being a province of (Gran) Colombia from 1820 onwards. Currently known as the Department of Bolívar within Colombia.)
- Caracas (representing the separatist juntas of the Province of Caracas of 1808 and 1810, as well as one of the early federal provinces that joined the First Republic of Venezuela in 1811 and later on being a province of (Gran) Colombia from 1821 to 1830.)
- Quito (representing the separatist junta of 1809, the State of Quito created in 1812, and later on the Province of Quito which was part of (Gran) Colombia from 1822 to 1830.)
- Cumaná (representing the separatist junta of the Province of New Andalusia of 1810, as well as one of the early federal provinces that joined the First Republic of Venezuela in 1811 and later on being a province of (Gran) Colombia from 1821 to 1830.)
- Valle del Cauca (representing the separatist junta of the City of Cali of 1810, as well as the Confederated Cities of Valle del Cauca that evolved from it in 1811 and that later joined the United Provinces of New Granada as a federal state in 1811. Currently a department within Colombia.)

- Quayaquil (representing the Free State of Guayaquil created in 1820 and its subsequent incorporation into (Gran) Colombia from 1822 to 1830.)
- Maracaibo (representing the colonial Province of Maracaibo and its subsequent incorporation into (Gran) Colombia from 1821 to 1830.)
- Santa Marta (representing the colonial Province of Santa Marta and its subsequent incorporation into (Gran) Colombia from 1821 onwards. Currently known as the Department of Magdalena within Colombia.)
- Popayán (representing the colonial Province of Popayán and its subsequent incorporation into (Gran) Colombia from 1821 onwards. Currently known as the Department of Cauca within Colombia.)
Moreover, adding Colombia as a civilization would allow for the introduction of various other Latin American nations as revolutions, in a similar way in which the current Mexican civilization works in-game. It could include the following revolutions in each age:

- Cundinamarca (representing the Free State of Cundinamarca that existed from 1811 to 1816, whose territories were later incorporated into (Gran) Colombia in 1819 after being reconquered by Spain from 1816 to 1819.) Can “rejoin” the main (Gran) Colombia civilization the next age.
- Venezuela (representing the First and Second Republics of Venezuela that existed from 1811 to 1814, whose territories were later incorporated into (Gran) Colombia in 1820 after being reconquered by Spain from 1814 to 1820.) Can “rejoin” the main (Gran) Colombia civilization the next age.
- From Age II to Age III
- New Granada (available to Cundinamarca only.) (It represents the United Provinces of New Granada that existed from 1811 to 1816, whose territories were later incorporated into (Gran) Colombia in 1819 after being reconquered by Spain from 1816 to 1819.) Can “rejoin” the main (Gran) Colombia civilization the next age.
- Florida (representing the Republic of the Floridas, which was a failed attempt by the privateer Gregor McGregor sent by revolutionaries from New Granada and Venezuela to liberate the Spanish colony of Florida and establish a Republic that could later on join (Gran) Colombia. It only lasted 6 months in 1817.)
- From Age III to Age IV
- Bolivia (derived from the period in which Bolivia was in a personal union with Colombia under the presidency of Simón Bolívar in 1825, as well as the Colombian armies that were sent to fought the Spanish in Bolivia and help in the creation of the Republic of Bolivia.)
- Perú (derived from the period in which Perú was in a personal union with Colombia under the presidency of Simón Bolívar between 1824 and 1827, as well as the Colombian armies that were sent to fought the Spanish in Perú and help in the creation of the Republic of Perú.)
- From Age IV to Age V
- Venezuela (representing the State of Venezuela that declared independence from (Gran) Colombia in 1830 and formed the contemporary country of Venezuela afterwards.)
- Ecuador (representing the State of Ecuador that declared independence from (Gran) Colombia in 1830 and formed the contemporary country of Ecuador afterwards.)
- New Granada (representing the Republic of New Granada, the legal successor to (Gran) Colombia after Venezuela and Ecuador declared independence in 1830.)
