New civ is coming

I suppose if you stay on the forum for long enough you could always see “Player numbers do not mean xxxxxx here are the reasons yyyyyyy”, if someone says “AOE4 is worse than AOE2 in some sense so/because the player number is lower”.
Now there are a lot of posts here comparing the player numbers of AOE3 and other games, and the cop did not arrive. But the cop appears immediately after I said the taboo combination of AOE2 and AOE4 in one sentence.

Disclaimer: I do not really agree with those opinions themselves. Just talking about people’s reactions.

So basically you indeed did what you accused him of doing? You do you I guess. There was no cops arriving anywhere. You were just too vague and he wanted clarification.

You know something? I will be absolutely honest. It feels like you were being vague on purpose hoping so either “cops” arrive and give spicy drama. Or b some poor chap actually asks for clarification and you blame them for being “cops”.

You were trying to raise Age II because it’s popular, because you saw people criticising Age III for being unpopular (compared to Age IV). Right?

Btw I don’t have a horse in the “Age III is bad” race. I have little to say about it. I own it, but I haven’t played it much. Like Civ IV. Own it, basically never played it. Has nothing to do with how good the game is.

Leaving alone all the discusion, I would like to ask do we know something more? Some leaks or whatever?

Malier and Ottomans are the new civs

Yes, it is already by custom that it is called byzantine Empire, beyond that you are right that technically it is still the Roman Empire by the theme of the uti possidetis iuris and the restauratio imperii…

Claro a eso me refiero…
