Anyone with trade contact with arabs will have steel weapons and armor.

How about 1 or 2 new architecture set? Will that be new content?

With all the African wealth they could literally buy modern power and many did.

Besides why wear steel in the scorching desert to become a mansized omelette when a special sort of lighter armor was less cumbersome and provided almost as much base armor class

Looks like they listened to me.

I don’t comment much anymore here but just wanted to say you’re always very very kind to address us custom creators, thank you really!
You’re right that even after running out of official content there’s much to dig. Recent custom campaigns I’ve played are Mihira boja by Jacqueline “hainaut” (also official designer), Aegidius by Manu la capuche and Edward VIII by basedteuton. And they all have a lot going on in different ways from each other, sometimes even pushing the game in terms of gameplay boundaries, so I suggest to check all them out if someone hasn’t yet while waiting for new content.
I myself have released Dihya in December which is one of the few campaigns set in Africa (since a lot of people seem hungry to have more African content)

The Mountain Royals as out just not that long ago, and I enjoy it! How is it a ‘lack of new content’ like you claim?

You sound like an ungrateful child here.

What? New DLC dropped or something?

Yes, they 100% did, why wouldn’t they? They had contact with the rest of Afroeurasia, difficult paths to travel, but they still had, so there was no reason for the big empires of Africa to not adopt this technology, just like the rest of the “old world”, they weren’t in the stone age, you should look up information on the amazing African empires, they weren’t all tribal people. Munsa Masa was the richest person in the world at one point ffs!

Just playing the game would have improved his african knowledge.

Even if we DONT count for inflation he still is.

I dunno, I think Solomon was richer. His net worth in today’s money is estimated to be $2.1 trillion. Mansa Musa’s is only estimated to be $400 billion.

the main source for Solomon is the old testament, not exactly a neutral/historical account

Perhaps so, but since many historians even bothered to calculate his net worth, that means they think there’s some truth to it. And according to them, no one has even come close to his wealth.

The point is, Mansa Musa was a rich guy, but he might not have been the richest. Still, his wealth was a considerable accomplishment.

people also calculated the GDP of star wars’ galactic empire, that doesn’t mean it existed

Current consensus states that regardless of whether or not a man named Solomon truly reigned as king over the Judean hills in the tenth century BCE, the biblical description of his apparent empire’s lavishness is almost surely an anachronistic exaggeration. - wikipedia

When you report his alt accounts, please write “Alt account of gargarensis” so the process is faster xD
