I also wonder if there wil be some crusader battles as well (i can see something in turkey on the map and maybe in the middle east)

There’s a infantry (?) near Ireland. Could it be Norman conquest of Ireland? At first I thought it was the Norse Warrior but I took a look and noticed the shield is different. Anyway, it is the only battle there I could think of.
There’s an unit just north of the British isles too. Is that the Serjeant?

I don’t know if it’s nostalgia or simply love for this game. But whatever it ends up being, I’ll definitely buy it. I’m happy to support the devs! I simply can’t get enough of aoe2…

Of course, 10 historical battles are equivalent to 2 complete campaigns…not to mention that they have added many civs since the release of The Forgotten in 2013 that do not appear in the historical battles that we know…

Yeah. No complain with price. 8 USD for 22 new missions is totally fair. I expected 7.49 for 18 missions.
That’s what you get for adding Romans. Maybe in the future another new architecture set will be added for the 2 Roman civs. And Bulgaria will get the same one as the Caucasians.
Very, very fake. The “I come from the future” Reddit guy just guesses random stuff, and he’s been wrong about most things that weren’t already overwhelmingly predicted by others. For example he’s said that TMR would feature Afghans, a new architecture set, that there would be no AoE2 DLCs in 2024.

I thought the same. Though I like the scenario as it is, replacing Franks for Normans is a natural update, since a new, more suitable civ, entered the game after AOK. Just like they replaced Franks with Burgundians in Barbarossa and Jean.

Exactly…they are interesting battles, especially Talas and Nicopolis…Talas because it was the great battle of Central Asia between Arabs and Chinese (the only one of that caliber, despite not generating too many changes at the beginning, except that the Abbasids occupied Central Asia until the arrival of the Mongols 500 years later) and Nicopolis because it was the first great battle between the European powers and the Ottomans…

Yes, although perhaps they will test the waters in case they divide the Chinese at the end of the year… the only great empire you have left in Asia is Tibet (and Siam counting SEA, but you already have the Khmer there)…
