No, it’s the Minaret of Jam if I understand correctly.
It is Kabul city from Babur campaign. I believe the 2nd mission but not sure. For some reason Georgians decided to invade the city so that Microsoft can promote The Mountain Royals DLC.
Oh I forgot about that one.
Don’t you know of the famous Georgian invasion of Afghanistan?
this could just as well be a hero unit from the campaign. The scene shots are mostly taken from campaigns with more Units added.
Which is strange when the Georgians literally appear in Tamerlane.
I don’t think they’ll implement a ranged unit which will ignore/destroy armour. This cannot be balanced, theoretically. They will either implement a charged mechanic (I don’t like that either tbh, but it’s not as bad), or add some huge caveat like “ignores 4 PA maximum” or “ignores armour at a range less than 3”.
The only thing I like so far from what I’ve seen is the warrior priest.
I really hope not. I’ve had enough of that with rathas already.
They don’t have the glowing aura around them and there are multiple.
Maybe only the charged attack ignores armour but doesn’t have a higher base damage.
Or they have a pretty low attack so maybe only 3.
Or maybe they just do a guaranteed +1 attack against everything giving them 2 attack against units like Huskarls.
I think the resource cart will be the regional unit introduced in this expansion.
I don’t think the green Lancer is Persian UU because they use central-asian architectural style, while the other pictures with orange Persian wonder, they use South Asian/Indian style.
My guess is either a scenarios-only unit or Feudal age SL as the other comment suggested. maybe for Cumans? to reinforce their Feudal rush characteristic?
EDIT: The wiki says that green Lancer picture is Tatars vs Armenians, maybe it will be Tatars.
As long as it can be balanced practically, there is nothing to worry about.
No team colour?
The African Republics
Rise of the Rice Farmers
The Last Commoners
Living-Wage-Earners of the West
Dawn of the Dole Queues
Dinner Staff of India
Man, that Composite Bowman cape looks hella sick. Can’t wait to play both Armenians & Georgians.
Where did you get it?
The guy who posted it just added a smirk emoji from where they got it. Probably data mining.
Hmm. The wiki says SL+CA picture is from Tatars vs Armenians. Maybe you’re right. Tatars will get Feudal SL.
Now I’m more concerned about Persian architecture.
For something to be practically possible in the game, it has to be theoritically possible. If something is theoretically impossible, there is no question of it being practically possible.
The only way that pure pierce armour ignoring is theoretically possible is by having the base damage of the unit be 1, and not giving the civ access to bracer. It’s upto everyone to decide if that’s a good idea or not.
I get a real Sacagawea vibe from Tamar here.
New DLC comes out
Guys wrting on wiki: “i’m fast af boi!!”
On a serious note, poor MAAs are going to get slaughtered by that Composite Bowman if devs aren’t balancing them right.
