this is probably the most egrigious suggestion. the jolly roger flag is from the 18th (!!!) century. it’s contemporary with steam engines and telegraphs.
I think adding more objects to the scenario editor is great, but at this point you might as well add ww2 tanks.
A lava-esque animated terrain was introduced for the Battle Royale mode (hidden by default in the Scenario Editor, but otherwise usable), but since more than a year, its animation no longer works and it’s plain black.
Will be added once Nessie has become a unique ship for the Celts.
Already available.
Heh, then there would be Fox, Hare, and Toad. The only one left is… a pheasant?
There are already quite a few unit models and stuff that could be added as jokes (from event mods, and RoR cheat units). A tank would need a completely new model.
The only newly created “joke” I would like to have is a fire-breathing dragon.
Well, it’s not seen that well in the video and not that much like lava (but the closest thing the game has/had), but it was “glowing” (changing between different shades of dark red). The edges were also animated (seen when looking closely at 1:18/1:19).
There was an undocumented cool effect when painting Water on the Corruption terrain in Layering Mode, the former would regularly “descend” into the lava and resurface.
Why is it hidden? Well, the Battle Royale Trade Workshop is also hidden for some reason, even though one can just generate a BR map and copy it. The terrain might be hidden because it doesn’t work like in BR when used in a scenario, it neither expands nor swallows units.
Anyway, it would be cool if the expanding “Corruption” could be actived in a scenario via trigger, could be used for fantasy-themed scenarios.
