What if we could get a nice update to environment visuals for biomes and make it season related?

I think I’d rather just have more biomes. I don’t think tying all biomes to the season is a good idea, partly because they already are baked-in to the biome, and because most biomes don’t change drastically with different seasons.
For example, I think a Saharan Desert biome is cool at the zenith of what makes it that. A wintery version of such a biome doesn’t really speak to me and seems like a bit of a confused use of resources. Instead, you could commit to making a new biome whose identity is more linked to winter, like a mountainous frozen lake or snow-covered dense forests.
I’d like to see a Tundra at the heights of what makes it a Tundra, Mangroves that exemplify its type. Jungles and Plains that bring me closer to the cultures that live there.
As far as modifying biomes go, the best we could get are slightly different lighting options for each one. Dusk and sunrise for instance. Maybe even some weather effects, like sandy, snowy or rainy wind that cover buildings.

When you say make it season related does that mean having ranked/quick match maintain a seasonal theme?
Like, we have the next season starting in spring so we could have spring style biomes from april-june and then transition to a summer style?
If so I love it!
I also really like the idea of having multiple seasons per biome.
Agreed with this. More biomes, for free as well as any they put in any DLC (like how Japanese Spring came with the Sultan’s Ascend).

I really liked the swamp biome. Hopefully, it’ll be implemented properly in the game instead of being relegated as part of a Halloween event from two years ago.
This would made my enjoyment rising above the stars, let’s cross our fingers for good things to come!
