I don’t think Jaguar Warriors will ever dominate in the same way than Monaspas do.
I like the mechanics, not sure about the overall balance of the unit though.
I wonder what region of the world would be the focus of the next batch of DLC. Hopefully this also means that eventually they’ll add more region appropriate generic unit skins.

Looks like Nanzhao/Dali is one of the civs based on a comment on another thread. I admittedly don’t know much about southern China, how well does this work as a representative for southern China (because it’s going to have to basically represent the whole region.)
Camels are therefore now considered a regional unit
I really hope Africa are the top priority coming up next.
America too needs to be explored both in North and South with a lot of regional units and hopefully new architecture.
There are some other graphical fixes that I would have hoped they included in the update
I hope in future we can get new architecture sets to break Mediterranean and East Asian sets. Consistency of Castles is really a big win for me. Now I can peacefully buy Mountain Royals.

The changes for the Milita-line are huge. NOW those units will be at least a little more viable. Arson in Feudal and cheaper opens a lot more possibilities.
Question: do these balance changes only modify your game if you buy the expansion, or are they applied for free automatically?
They are all for free included in the next major update

I’m assuming it’s just because Supplies got removed so much like with Tracking beforehand, the other Barracks tech preceding Gambesons replaces it instead. Does make me wonder if now you have to research Arson to get Gambesons, or if you can just upgrade Gambesons directly instead.
I will expect it to be more expensive than the other DLCs have been thus far. Dynasties of India was more expensive than Dawn of the Dukes/Lords of the West, right? Since they removed the prices from Steam, I can’t actually suggest a price as I don’t remember how much the DLCs went for initially. 11
I’m expecting it to be somewhere around 40 USD though.
Remember, all the castle re-skins and such are NOT part of the DLC. In fact most of the stuff in the post today (other than the E. Asian environmental stuff) is not part of the DLC. I think the absolute most it will be is $30, but i’d reckon closer to $20-$25 for the DLC.
If sell at 60 usd with too many bugs, I will definitely give a negative rating on steam. If only a few, 60 USD is acceptable for me. If more money can exchange higher quality, that will be fine. I would also expect pathing to be greatly improved if sell at 60USD.
Btw, I would rather remove arson instead of supplies honestly.
