Age of Empires Definitive Edition and Age of Empires Definitive Edition II have full support for Latin American Spanish. Now I have noticed on the Steam page that the support for the localization of the Latin American Spanish language will not be present in this last Definitive Edition. is this a mistake or a final decision?
If it is a reality that it will not bring this language, it is a shame because I have really enjoyed it in the 2 previous games.

Honestly, Latin American support for Age 1 DE is defective and full of flaws. I recommend using my mod to fix it. The language support in Age 2 DE improved, but itâs far from being perfect, too.
The 3rd DE will probably be best if only includes the Spanish from Spain language, as I donât want both of them to be low quality and inaccurate; one good translation is better than two that arenât.

I donât really know why didnât Microsoft put more effort into translating their games, specially the 1st Definitive Edition. It speaks ill of them to do such thing.
Even though modding isnât the solution, it is nice to be able to manually fix issues they make. Hopefully, AoE3:DE has mod support and allows for customizing the UI so people like me can fix the translation errors, grammar and orthography.

Hola compañeros insiders, la presentacion del juego ayer en la Gamescom y presentando la fecha de salida fueron geniales!, pero al momento de hacer la preventa en Steam me he dado cuenta que ya no esta el doblaje Latinoamericano, sera que el juego no va a salir con dicho doblaje?. Estån haciendo lo que hicieron con el doblaje de Español en AOE2DE en su momento. Pero que después salio.

Quizå salga después, pero de verdad es tan necesario? O sea, al menos para mà con el Español de siempre basta y sobra. Tampoco es como que mate la experiencia.

en la beta se tienen textos en español, claro que faltan algunos por agregar, de la campaña no sabrĂa decir como irĂa el tema de audio, pero no creo que afecte tanto la jugabilidad, saludos

Que esto no te decepcione esto no va a arruinar para nada la experiencia de juego, con textos en español es suficiente para disfrutar de este gran juego.

Aunque haya Español de Castilla y no afecte el gameplay la verdad no es lo mismo, fue una grata sorpresa cuando jugue los primeros dos DE en lenguaje latino y se siente un poco raro que para el tercero no exista la opcion de español latinoamerica, ojala que los desarrolladores puedan implementar esa opcion en un futuro y mas importante, que sea una opcion para age of empires 4
Even when thereâs Spain Spanish and donât affect gameplay, truly isnât the same, it was a great surprise when i played the first 2 DE that devs added Latin Spanish and it feels a lil off tha the third one donât have that option anymore, hopefully decs could implement that in the future and more important for Age of empires 4

Es raro. AoE 2 ya tenĂa castellano y en el DE no lo tenĂa y sĂłlo el hispanoamericano, para luego tener en una actualizaciĂłn. ÂżPasarĂĄ lo mismo? Recuerdo que los españoles se quejaron por Cielo y Tierra de la no inclusiĂłn. SerĂa genial tener doblaje en español latinoamericano.

Cabe resaltar que los dialogos de algunas campañas de AoE3 no estaban traducidos al español. Hace perder un poco el interés sobre esas historias.
Mientras no empeores la voz de Isabel la CatĂłlica todo estarĂĄ bien UwU.
I hope that, if spanish is available, it is consistent with what can be read on screen. I donât want the voice actors to say âsoldadosâ while texts say âguerrerosâ, or âmina auriferaâ instead of âmina de oroâ.
Otherwise it would be extremely annoying and someone like me would have to release an unofficial patch -and keep it up to date, which is not a minor thing- to fix the translations.

En caso de que no estén al tanto, es posible seleccionar desde Steam el idioma del audio del Age of Empires 2: DE a través de las propiedades, y luego elegir el idioma desde su pestaña correspondiente. Para Latinoamérica, recomiendo hacer coincidir tanto la configuración desde Steam (usando el cliente), como también la configuración del idioma a través del juego. Si bien los textos tienen errores aquà y allå, serå mucho mejor que tener el audio en español de España y la traducción en español latam, o viceversa.
Planeo crear un mod de AOE2DE con una mejor traducciĂłn, asĂ como lo hice con AOE1DE.
