No one plays feudal age!

Thanks a lot for the compliment, but I m just 30 indeed I am having lots of time on hand but still want to learn things that would make no difference still are a heck-tec headache.

I did not mean of just gold mining, its the gold , stone and whole resources that yield too much than wanted. I referred to as “gold digging”. I wanted a game more of a map like campaign maps and close to battle royale map style but not even battle royale.

It sounds a bit to me as if you expect that players spend a sizeable amount of time in each age.

Clearly Dark age is sizeable amount than feudal age, castle age is as much as dark age nearly 15 to 18 mins if not arabia, maps like mega random and else all take much time in dark age too.

Not to be mean but why are we treating this in good faith

When making decisions in game, matters get complicated. The best action may be distinct from the idyllic option.

The only purpose of the feudal age is to get through it as quickly as possible. It is not a playable mechanic in itself.

For my part, I believe that the mechanics of ages in this game are artificial and even ahistorical, because not all nations developed from feudalism to empire, many - in the opposite direction. Also, not all nations, in principle, had a castle age. And it is not always clear why the castle and the imperial are two different. Many peoples never became empires at all, for example the Huns or Cumans. I understand that we are talking about a gaming convention, but in campaigns it directly harms. I don’t understand how, during the life of one commander, I could skip 1-2 eras, and then in the next mission get this progress reset. I would remove this mechanic altogether or rework it. At a minimum, the stages should not be called that, but simply be levels of prosperity.
