October Pre Update!

Do you think it is a bug because the devs didn’t mention about this change or because there is no 2WP in latest PUP build?

I think the Devs are focusing on one civ at a time for adjustments, home city customization’s and explorer skins so we just have to be patient.

Devs probably dont want that change of adding mortars cause it will move out siege eles as they did with arrow knights. Im agree with a more range at least for their antibuilding/ships attack. Also more AoE for anti art attack could work. And REMOVE LIGHT CAV TAG, at least for skirms attack bonuses, they can keep it with HC cards bonuses.

Priestess: Conversion speed now improves by 1.5 seconds (up from 1) with the Elite, Champion and Legendary Priestess shadow upgrades

we dont even know how much time takes to covnert a unit, how we calculate?
time for covnerting a falconet
time for converting a heavy cannon
time for converting a cuirasier
how do i calculate it?

It would be good if we could get confirmation of what you are saying and they could publicly lay down a medium-term plan for us that they intent to stick to. The closest we got was ''We plan to make a number of changes to various United States cards and units in a future update" but we are yet to see that, fingers crossed that it is coming soon.

I mean, it’s kind of obvious how they are tackling things. And technically speaking they said the USA would be addressed in a future update, not the next one. We have been given a roadmap, though not as specific as to when civs will be addressed. It’s safe to assume the native civs and maybe USA are up first with little changes to some existing civs sprinkled therein.

When it comes to devs saying the word “soon” it usually means months. They’re tackling a lot of things right now and Tantalus is a small studio. I’m not sure what role FE plays but I’m guessing Tantalus does a lot of the heavy lifting.

I’m intrigued by what changes the USA will get too. I like they’re now adding cards so that is a good sign for future civ updates.

Hol up, are you telling me kallanka units are gonna be viable?

In the PUP I saw on the map load screen there are two maps that currently are not in the game Panama and Guianas.

I also found that while bolas start with 12 range, they shadowtech to 13 range in the third age and with the 4th age upgrade they can get 15 range.

Similarly, Huaracas start with 19 range, shadowtech to 20 in the 3rd age, and get upgrades to 22 in the 4th age upgrade (does not increase range in imperial)

Yes, they are adding 3 maps in the new update: Bahia and Minas Gerai (South America) and Siwa Oasis (Africa). Also, as you noticed, Guianas and Panama are teased for a next update

Yes. I remember reading it somewhere and it seemed like a good idea.

ACHEI MUITA COMIDA DEVERIA SER: 200 DE COMIDA E 350 DE MADEIRA

To quote Mitoe from ESOC, “India has a good economy and strong units, but they still suffer from some core weaknesses: the 12 Sepoy rush is dead, or a lot weaker now that you need to construct a consulate and ally with British to make it viable; slow-ish to get to Fortress and have to upgrade units once there; they kind of struggle to deal with cannons, especially in age 4, though it’s a lot better with cheaper & better siege elephants.”

And to add my observation to this,

  • Civs that can FF pretty fast like Spain, China or even Dutch can just hold you with mm, vill punching, 1 batch of units, and TC fire. All this while India is stuck in the 2nd age as they have no real way of FFing themselves, at least not quickly enough.
  • With +10w, market upgrades would now be harder and slower to get especially as TAD requires 3 instead of 2 for the first tier of upgrades.
  • India’s age up would slow down by a couple of seconds especially as you need to chop +20w if you’re going up by Agra which is like 95% of the time. (another house in transition, else popped).

This would lead to getting a slightly delayed batch of sepoys out which surely puts in a position of playing catch-up or having to severely outplay the opponent.

TLDR, 70w per house is the sweet spot for India.

Which is their strong suit? Nerf that and India has no real way of FFing or doing enough damage to stay age 2 while your opponent has access to better units and tech. This is huge!

Yeah, but India vs Otto is considered to be slightly Otto favoured, at least that’s what the pros say.

Yea I was thinking the same.

Also 34 range is a basic. everyone have it.
IDK why devs compare siege ele with flaming arrow , which is far more efficient. but have same range upgrades.

WP means warrior priest ?

I beg for forgiveness in advance .
