Notice nobody id coming to build a gold statue of you for your “work”?
The same two haters from the beginning…
You’re spamming useless lore, knock it off!
Either make a civ or dont but stop posting spammy documentaries and stuff that add NOTHING to the mon goal of yhe thread. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?
Okay. My goal is simply to show that a given civilization has a sufficiently deep historical context, because that’s also important. Regarding the civilization concept, I posted an updated version a few posts above. Besides, the first post doesn’t look the same as it did at the beginning, which is what the first comments refer to. In any case, I’ll try to only post any changes to the civilization’s design in this thread. I think it has potential. Time will tell what the final outcome of this civilization and its campaign will be.
I know that you really care about this concept. But you need to take a diferent approach if you want to make the civ and campaign concept anything worthwhile. You need to make the unique units, buildings, techs and bonuses more focused, historically relevant and unique in the game. Currently the justification of every bonus, unit and tech (except the citizen militia bonus that could be made into something interesting) seems extremelt weak. You also should outline what actually would be interesting about the campaign, maybe even give some idea for each scenario
And in regards to the people itself I jusst think that trying to give an spotlight to a European nation that if present in Africa or America almost everyone would consider “irrelevant” is just not something Im interested in. And you trying to reignite conversations on this topic by posting a random thing you found online is annoying
You talking about last version from that post?
Yes Im talking about that version
I’ll consider improving the concept, although I think your criticism in this regard is overstated. I’m also open to any ideas and suggestions in this regard. Regarding the campaign scenarios, I’ve written a general outline of what they’re supposed to involve. I don’t think the civilization concept should be a detailed summary of the campaign.
