It would also greatly help the level of conversations here, providing accurate data rather than anecdotical evidence and ad hominem “arguments”.
I’d really hope the devs will give us an API, even if it is “only” for the leaderboard and the list finished matches for the “current patch” (current at the time of the request), with only basic details (game settings, list of players associated with their civ amd whether they won or not)
Then the community can take care of organizing and displaying the stats.

It’s been 2 years, which makes me doubt whether the devs actually have any of these statistics.

Hi, any chance to improve the aoe3de’s leaderboard just like one for aoe2de? Aoe2de has download links for every recorded game on the ladder. I saw that the leaderboard for aoe1de and aoe2de are put together. In every player’s profile, there is a drop-down menu that can change between aoe1de statistics and aoe2de statistics. I think aoe3de can be added to that drop-down menu as well.
