Otto Nerfs?

This is the only thing stopping me from enjoying the game right now. The proof of this is that Otto players can’t micro, they get to your elo without having to micro as well as you do, since the civ is easy to play and all their units are strong, and then add some bullshit cards. Lets not even mention how poorly their late game is balanced (Grenadiers).

I mean that seems fine. It’s just the intended way the game is meant to be played. Pick Otto and chill.

Stop trying to normalise this nonsense.

Yeah stop trying to normalise saying otto needs nerfs. What it needs is trainable sipahi.

Oui, il y avait eu un topic caricatural à propos des ottomans ou nous demandions un up de la civs pour plaisanter sur le fait que les ottomans sont trop puissants actuellement

I’m really fond of all the ottoman games on the ladder. It’s really great that they’re played as much as French and British combined.

You can turn off the monitor to save energy while playing Ottomans.

That almost sounds like an incredibly funny show-match idea. Two pros playing with sounds but no visuals. Imagine the base building!

I haven’t been too active in aoe3 so seeing the forums have 3/10 posts about otto OP or calls to nerf made me think:

Ottomans make up roughly 15% of the playerbase, meaning any 1v1 has a roughly 30% chance of some ottoman action. And checking on the forum, ottomans have only been complained about roughly the same they are seen (30% vs 33%). Therefore, clearly ottoman is not only balanced but well within its anticipated complaining rate. Infact. It’s slightly underpreforming.

It’s over ottohaters, statistics never lie.
