The photomode is awesome but its limitation on the camera position (can’t go through terrain and limited height on the sky) is applied even to the ‘Free Cam’ mode in the scenario editor. Now why is this problematic? Well, the editor has some objects’s base that don’t collide with the terrain itself and to move/delete them, you need to go move inside the terrain or look at it from far above. For example, When you create ‘rain’, not the render rain, but the rain ‘object’, its base doesn’t have any collision on the terrain but it is located under earth; it is impossible to move/delete the rain now without moving the whole map elevation . Example of why you need an unlimited height is for example if you want to select the object ‘sky dome’. It is impossibile to have its entire view with the current limited height .

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Check Free Cam on the Editor. Its limitation is the same as Photo Mode.

Free Cam needs to be as the name implies free.

Normal visual, can’t see the whole sky dome:

Elevation of map is reduced in this pic; We can see that the rain has a traingular base and there was a hidden ocean floor underneath the map:

For reference here is how the sky dome could be seen:

BTW could you tell me if the render sky was fixed and how can it be triggered now?
