Historical Map Edition is here!
The official release is here! Special thanks to @assertivewall for making all historical maps playable against the AI. @dansil92 for the Paris map baseline, @Alistair for the Paris map randomization and help with the code, @Phoenix for the new Assassin models and other custom models, @vividlyplain for code supervision and Unknown map update, @UnstoppableStreletsy for testing and spreading awareness and special thanks to Daniel Pereira (AoE dev) who helped us to optimize the performance. You have all the newest stuff on Beta, but Beta shouldnât be fully stable and is available only in English.

The age of pirates mod is multiplayer compatible with no-mod players?? Can I launch separately like we did with NE/WoL amd TAD??
@Utterantherr Join our Discord server and use the Beta link in the #beta-testing channel.
@Ekdal1378 You can play all Age of Pirates maps in multiplayer, but only with other players having the same version of Age of Pirates and no other mods activated at the same time. All maps are tested on either single-player or multi-player, so with the same mod version, itâs compatible, but not with only the vanilla game.

What is that ceremony altar?
Itâs basically a minor civ version of the Fire Pit building from the original AoE III. It works a bit differently and doesnât offer that many dances, but the functionality is similar.
