I want to transfer the mod from AOE 2 HD (2013). The author abandoned this mod. How do I do this for the realities of DE?

It all depends, it’s not just copy paste.
Graphics, audio, random-map-scripts, taunts, scenarios, menu’s, ai, and terrain are each handled differently.
