So please devs, I suggest you to increase the base xp points we get in Gauntlet for every single node, for all difficulties, especially for the lowest ones.
I’ve completed 17 labyrinths in Standard and 12 in Moderate and I’m at Level 24. That’s insane…
Please consider that some of us can’t play at higher difficulties, so it will take forever in order to get those 3 achievements.
I love the game but I want to play other multiplayer skirmish games too, so please raise base xp points
Agreed, playing hgher difficulties or not, its quite the grind to level up and after you unlock all legends theres still long ways to go. Would be nice if in the future the exp gaiin is better or at least there more things to chase on.
Now as to having a struggle with higher difficulties theres ways to cheese it and speed run it if you are interested.
Level 75 legendary player here, I stopped a few months ago. I think I quit because I was only leveling a little over half a level at a time. At the current rate, I win in about 25 minutes.
So for Kaiser who is at level 74, assuming you can beat all of them in 25 minutes, you got about 15 hours of work left in store for you. So yeah, even in that position I am still not incentivized to continue. Which is why I’m holding out for an XP update.
That being said though, this is not the first large thread on the forum about this issue, and I think there are 3 major ones on steam about it right now. So, I hope you guys voicing your criticism has contributed greatly.
Here are my contributions on for how they could actually make XP bearable from the last one.
Here are some new ideas I’ve gotten since then:
Increased Daily Celestial challenge XP significantly to encourage players to log in each day.
Give flat XP rewards for the Kastor story mode. Each mission in the story mode could offer a single one-time flat XP reward with obviously boss nodes giving more. The normal story mode nodes could give a generous amount of XP, maybe reflecting the kind of XP you get from the third-to-last or second-to-last nodes. This makes it a one-time use XP booster and gives you incentive to actually play the story mode.
Either increase the difficulty modifiers or the base xp granted for each mission, otherwise it just takes wayyyyy too long to get to 99… That achievement is such a mood killer, especially after already achieving 100% before some updates
