[Poll] Do you think it's the end of new civ DLCs?

The same thing, don’t complicate things too much, concentrate on the DE versions because the originals were kind of meh… let FE transfer it in RoR and you in AoE 2…

The Mountain Royals was the first DLC I’ve not bought for the game I just cant muster interest in more civs reusing existing architecture with a new castle. A lot of the appeal of a DLC for me is getting new visuals. AOE2 HD added a lot of new architectures with its DLC.

Yes, it must be that they ran out of ideas…maybe in a next dlc (especially if it is African or Mesoamerican) they will put in new architecture…

If they didn’t add a new architecture set in this DLC, when it really needed one, then they’re never going to add any new sets.

Finally you seem to be on the sage page as me.

it had a new set with every single dlc, even DE on release added central asian architecture
edit: the forgotten added not 1 but 2 architectures, mediteranian and eastern european

How can they run out of ideas when they just need to take inspiration from the real world?

Its way easier to add stuff in HD than DE just look at the amount of graphics mods there.

I know DE is of course a lot higher resolution but is this because of the very detailed destruction animations they added in DE? They are nice of course but if they made it way more work to add new architecture it’s a bad deal in my opinion.

That’s true…well we’ll see what they do…

I think that part of the problem is the over reliance on pretty graphics over smoother and more civs for gameplay.

Honestly a functional game is more important than pretty shinies
