I’m curious, what are you basing this conclusion on? The DLC has barely been out for a week.

I wouldn’t base myself on the reactions of the handful of people who regularly comment on this forum.

Well, you can visit aoezone and read their opinions about dotd lol.

Btw they want asian, american and african civs. In that order.
And there are people who don’t want any kind of dlc at all. Just bug fixes and better balance.

Forgotten Empires is also working on 2 games at one time (AoE2 and AoE3)
When we got the bigger DLCs for AoE2, they weren’t supporting AoE3, to expect them to do the same when they have way more work to do is ignorant

I hope they’ll be big enough again so that we can have proper expansions for both games.

Didn’t like the last two DLCs for AOE2 due to the lack of new architecture sets and uninspired civ picks.

The only reason I gave LOTW a positive review is because I wanted to see more expansions for AOE2.

I too hope that but at the same time, I can’t stand by and watch people rail on the studio because they aren’t getting their way, especially when it isn’t the studio’s fault

See, this is a good, unbiased poll. And when Asia and Africa actually get more than 1 option per continent, it shows that people WANT them, not more Europe

Tbh I just think that this is a good level for how specific the choices should be since it fits very well with the regional DLCs
