tc’s in dark age, helps if you are being drushed
it also helps archers for flushing
you talk about giving ballistics to the Iroquois already in the dark ages - they already benefit from ballistics in the beginning of the game, being totally free of research and already in the dark ages? I would find it very good, since it is a siege civilization. I also liked the concept exposed in this forum, for them to have a unique building (council), available to all allied civilizations, but I don’t know if that would be very appealing. The council would have a single allied unit (castle units only) available. I always imagined this in the game, the possibility of training and allied units. But just as I saw on this forum, if the alliance with the Iroquois was broken (and vice versa) the building (council) would collapse.
sorry, i meant Rajputs get ballistics in dark ages as a team bonus, but ya, that’s basically it,
for the iroquis team bonus it’s council all the way!
even if it’s not close to a castle unit sharing device and just a market that generates more gold (though that’s not accurate, just wanted to give an example of a council that “let us down”)
the idea and concept I would like for the council (unique building) would be this: a building that allows training allied castle units. It would be a totally useful building and something not yet seen in the game. The Portuguese have a unique building that produces resources. Until then, we no longer have a building that makes it possible to train units of the allies (from other civilizations).
that is my concept too
indian subfaction system :
Would love to see Polynesians added to have something represent Oceania.
do you have any ideas?
@MatCauthon3 In my opinion, the devs have put 3-4 civs from the all the world and ready…From Nat-Am,the iroquois or the anazasis (pueblos indians),in South-Am,mapuches,the Kongoleses in South Africa and in Oceania, the polynesians (they had an oceanic empire -The Tonga Empire- around the XIII-XVI centuries before falling because a civil war)…
I hope at least some of them get into the game one day.
could you give your opinion?
what is this for?
reference?
Cool. It is an ethnic map isn’t it? Don’t you have a bigger one? I mean, one that covers more places in a single map.
Also, what year is it based on? Never played Crusader Kings but the title suggest me about 1000-1200 AD
is there a source which describes them in nubia, i couldn’t find any
also, did nubia still use pharaohs by the time of AoE2? black pharaohs would be a cool UT name
and they weren’t a naval superpower, right?
would steppe lancers be a stretch for the civ considering the Bedouin nomads?
Realms mod is originally where the game designers stole all civ bonuses from starting with african kingdoms until now
Imo this is not true, it’s very easy to guess civilization bonuses like +2 melee armor, faster moving skirmishers, free loom, cheaper eco upgrades, free militia-line upgrades, free lumberjack upgrades…
sorry about my last post, i misplaced it
also i have a quick question, i was designing a civ, it had no crossbow so i gave it a shotel like anti-infantry secondary unique unit (i later gave it decent health), the civ now has a anti-archer resistant crossbow, and i’m leaning towards giving it arblest, would that take the viability of the uu away?
what if i took away the last archer armor upgrade, i could also make skirms benefit from their UT to compensate (Adimurai UT which i have previously mentioned)
and lastly, i made a Siamese civ concept, and i was wondering if they would be too strong in trash wars, if you want to give feedback here it is New Civ Recommendations In Case Of Future Expansions (WIP list)
Is it still open. I don’t know how to vote.
you select each civ you want, then click the submit vote button at the bottom
