[poll] What DLC would like to have first

Most Anatolians were local people which adopted the Turkic language and all Ottoman culture was adopted from Byzantine and Persia. The Ottoman army consisted of people from Balkans and eastern Europe and Ottoman elite was European born. Turkomans, which was the only of Turkic origin, heavily repressed by the Ottoman empire.

So Huns were European?

Ottomans had more wars and territory in Asia and North Africa, than in Europe. They never were or will ever be European.

To say that Ottomans are European, is to say that White Americans are Native American.
It is a historical atrocity. They are both invasive colonizers.

It is easy to change the title, if the title is not part of the poll. but above it instead

So, Byzantine politics in Balkans and the Black Sea are should be called colonization. But Byzantine still considered European enough.

Academically, the Huns of Attila are called European Huns. In opposite, Huns from central Asia are called Xiongnu and Hephthalites.

Yes, Byz was originally European (the Greeks were the core). The Ottomans were not, they originated in Asia.

Istanbul is cored by Ottomans so Ottomans are European. Ottomans are 1400-1922 in Europe. Also this is political tought if you think ottomans are not European. Also we dont care you think ottomans arent european. We proud of our culture.

Ottoman Turkey is a multi-ethnic country. The Slavs are good at fighting, the Greeks lead the troops, and the navy commander may be Bulgarian. Even the Sultan himself at that time had half the blood of Serbia or Macedonian. So they prefer to call themselves Ottomans rather than Ottoman Turks in the European population. So they’re Europeans of white blood.

After the first World War, Ottoman collapsed and the people of this multi-ethnic country were scattered. A new force was urgently needed to reunite the people.

At this time, Kemal overthrew the autocratic monarchy and established a republic. At this time, it was not conducive to the stability of the new regime and national unity to use the name of Ottoman monarchy, so they used Turkey as the name of their country. Before that, the Ottomans were disgusted with the name.

The new regime began to vigorously promote the Turkic identity of the people, but even Kemal himself, the father of Turkey, was blonde, blue eyed, white, and had a standard Macedonian look.

In order to de Ottoman, Kemal decided to use “pan Turkism” to unite this scattered multi-ethnic country. Thus, in the 1930s, there appeared the “Turkish view of history”. This view claims that the earliest human beings in the world were Turks, or Turks, who appeared in Central Asia. So the source of the world’s major civilizations comes from the Turks.

Kemal politics emphasizes the history of Turks’ ancestors to Turks with far-reaching significance. On the one hand, it can liberate the people from the shadow of Ottoman’s defeat and rebuild national confidence and unity. On the other hand, it has an ulterior purpose, that is, to become the leader of Pan Turkism and to find a solid basis for its territorial expansion.

It is undeniable that Turks do have great similarities with Turks in culture and language, but their physical features and living habits clearly tell the world that the blood lineage of yellow Turks is only a tiny composition in their bodies, and their real ancestors can only be white tribes from central or Western Asia.
