[Poll] Will the devs ever care to balance the newest Unique Unit, the Flaming Camels?

So -5G price would Instantaneously make them OP?
No tech block would Instantaneously make them OP?
-5F price would Instantaneously make them OP?
+5 attack would Instantaneously make them OP?

I love how easily the conclusion was derived. And how everyone seems to accept it.

It shouldn’t be locked by a Unique Tech. That’s the first step.

Its a cost reduction of 15g to take down paladins, where they already have a huge gold advantage in kills as is.

Not to mention what that does against non paladin.

In the video about 18k worth of camel killed 28k worth of paladin. You would make that 15k to 28k

I asked why they are locked so far into Imperial Age when they could easily be made available from Castle Age (just like their cousins, the petards) (and still be underused.)

no. You said could we at least not tech lock them. I agreed that was fair.

It shouldn’t have been a trainable unit in the first place, it was a meme demand

They should be available directly from Castle Age. Preferably from the Stable, but that won’t happen, even though this is the FIRST CAST OF TWO UUs FROM THE CASTLE FOR ANY CIVILIZATION

And then also -5G.

Make them available from STABLES. We cannot have two UUs from Castle, and yet, the underpowered FC are relegated to it.

And ill disagree with all that. They are already cost effective and supply efficient

If you don’t allow them from STABLES, they will never ever be seen.
Becauswe Tatars is a UU reliant civilization with super massable Keshiks.

Keshiks >>>>> Knight-line.
Elite Keshiks >= Paladins, if not even BETTER(50F 35(40-5 gen)G vs 60F 75G).

Allow them from STABLES. This is the way.

Not supply wise they arent. And I see tatars more going ca.
And to outmass knights you need 1 castle for every 2 stables. Good luck.

Here’s the thing,
Cost efficiency >>>>> Supply Efficiency all the way until 200 pop michi resources.

And for FCs,

Bad and not Cost Effective VS
Hussar, Light Cavalry, All Infantry, All Archers, All Siege Units, All Buildings, Villagers, Monks,

(Barely) Cost Effective VS
Elephants
(3/4 of which are themselves very situational UUs)

Depends VS
Heavy Cavalry (depends on upgrades and HP), Cav Archers (depends on micro)

ALSO Bad and not Cost Effective VS
All units with Cover fire of buildings and/or mass ranged units (Keep in mind the first FC you create is in LATE IMP)

So hardly any reason to make them.
Mass Halbs without Chain mail are better, no gold required, and Elephants Shreked. They even get the same Pierce Armor as Flaming Camels and more HP!

I like them, though.

Except heres the thing. They ain’t beating knights one on one. So you have to out mass the knights to beat them.

Proved the rest of this wrong already.

When? …

It was Right about here

So I refuted all of that

Yet you claim you disproved me?

Where did you refute all of it if you would please? We literally have video evidence of flaming camels coming out ahead of paladins by 10k gold as is, using a sub-optimal test even.

all you did was refute about how you don’t care about throwing pikes cuz they cheap, but waah about throwing camels into a castle.
which is easily negated by not throwing camels into a castle.

yeah the devs were nice enough to give in to the fan service but now he’s asking them to get major buffs like he’s entitled to it.

This is still a 20$ game with years worth of gameplay + quality custom campaigns from community+ consistent patches from devs. Heck you can mod the balance if you feel you don’t like it and the editor for that is bundled with the game. To ask and complain that the development is at snail’s pace (his words) that the meta and the units aren’t to his expectations is frankly ludicrous.
